IMEI Services

These services remove the network lock from iPhones and generic phones sold by Japanese carriers, so the device can be used with other SIM cards. Covered networks are AU KDDI and UQ mobile, NTT Docomo, JCOM, Softbank and its Y!mobile sub-brand.

Check the IMEI first and pick the service for the exact carrier the phone is locked to. Most listings accept clean or unpaid IMEIs only; blacklisted IMEIs are not supported. Supported models differ by service, so read the description. Results usually arrive within hours.
